THE MEZZ - Charleston Jazz Bar Line Up
Thursday, April 2nd Holy City Funk & Blues
Kat & the Boys rocked the Mezz in March and were the recipients of one of the first encore
requests we've seen at the Mezz. Their playful interaction on stage only compliments
their steamy and soulful music!
Friday, April 3rd Joe Clarke Quartet
Joe is a crooner who ranges in style from the time of Art Deco to the early days of the Rat Pack.
A true orchestrator of classic tunes, Joe plays music that brings back a memory of
your first dance, date and kiss!
Saturday, April 4th Joe Clarke Swing Band
Although the dance originated in Harlem, you won't be able to keep your feet down
in Charleston when Joe strikes up the Swing Band! Come show us your Lindy, Hop or Shag!
Sunday Brunch, April 5th Jamie Slater Trio
This lovely trio featuring guitar is a great back drop to a relaxing brunch upstairs in the Mezz overlooking busy King Street.
But don't be surprised when you pause your conversation or look away from King Street to focus on the stage and the music because it's just that good!
Wednesday, April 8th River City Dixieland Band
Charleston is gaining a reputation for becoming the Culinary Capital of the South and now with the help
of this N'Orleans Style Dixieland Band, the Holy City may just find the Saint's Marching
down our own King Street!
Thursday, April 9th Joe Clarke Quartet
Friday, April 10th Private Event
Saturday, April 11th Joe Clarke Swing Band
Sunday, April 12th Jamie Slater Trio
Wednesday, April 15th River City Dixieland Band
Thursday, April 16th Leah Suarez & Friends
Performing a mix of jazz standards, bossa nova and original music, Leah brings a sophistication and warmth to the sound. Accompanied by Gerald Gregory on piano, the two show the audience how much more enjoyable music is when those who make it for us enjoy the company they share on stage.
